    Just curious as to any recomendations on what are some really good DVD players out there. I want one that will show great movies on my HDTV and be able to play all types of recordable media (mostly burnt dvds). Any help would be great! Thanks!

  2. This is like asking what's the 'best' sci-fi movie ever made.

    Pioneer has some good models and gets good feedback. Here's one at Amazon that plays all kinds of discs - DVD +/- R/RW, VCD, SVCD, CD, DivX, XviD, region 0, NTSC/PAL, etc.

    I haven't personally bought this (yet) but I've done some research and it gets pretty good comments from end users.

    Be sure to check out the DVD Players section on the left toolbar as there are a LOT of models in there with specs and comments.
