    i was wondering if there was any other software we can use to print on media beside the software shipped with the printer

    You can use most any graphics program to print with. You will have to design a template to match the alignment of the disc tray. The Epson software is a handy print utility. I use Photoshop to design with. After I finish with the design, I save the file as a .bmp file and use the Epson software to print with. The Epson software doesn't support .psd files.

    In a previous post, it was mentioned its water based ink, ONLY work on those white printable surafce.

    Epson also made a small media only printer, does its ink also suffered from the same water based nature ?
