Have not posted much, since all has been okay, but now I have a problem I can't find a solution for. I am authoring a DVD which will be used in a stand alone player as an exhibit. I use Pinnacle Studio 10 -- and believe it or not I have not had any problems using the program. But what I need to do is have the DVD go back to the beginning after playing through, and I cannot find any code which would do that. You can certainly return to a menu, but then you need to click the menu. Am I missing something here? This would need to be player independent, of course, since I have no control over the player that will be used.

Since this forum has come to my rescue in the past, I have complete confidence that one of you will point my addled brain in the right direction!

    Use Pgcedit --
Lets say the content you want looped is in ttn 1
Edit first post command of ttn 1 to (Jump VTS_TT)Jump to TTn 1 in this VTS

Of course only the stop/power off will stop this loop

In Studio 10, all you have to do is make your video the background for a menu. Lay down your video on the timeline, then create a title overlay that covers the entire length of the video. Then place a nonconspicuous button outside of the red dashed lines (the TV-safe area) and size it as small as you can. The button will need something to link to, so add a blank title at the end of the video, and set the chapter link to it. The video will loop now because it is a menu, and it will continue until you hit enter on your remote.

  4. Here's a guide using IfoEdit(no menu is needed):
1.Using IfoEdit, if title 1 is your first play (it
should be because you are doing the main
    title only, right?), open VTS_01_0.IFO.

2.Go to VTS_PGCITI, click on it and then
    expand it. This shows VTS_PGC_1.

3.Scroll down to the PGC Command table and
right click on Post Command #1 (1. Post
    Command).

4.Select "edit command" from the menu and
    then select "Link PGCN".

5.Select 1 for your PGC number and hit OK.

6.Select "Get VTS sectors" and answer Yes then exit IfoEdit.

DVD Maestro made DVDs that looped forever by default. Frankly, it was a bit of a nuisance.

Wow! Thanks for the responses. The Studio 10 menu idea is directly applicable, and sounds like the easiest to implement. You folks are the greatest.
