LG 4120b - fails disc scan

I'm having an odd error with my LG4120b burner... Using Nero 6, I burn video dvds at 4x and I have Nero setup to scan when finished writting...

Using Sony made in Japan +Rs, Sony made in Taiwan -Rs and generic -Rs/+Rs the media burns fine... However Nero has been reporting read errors when doing a scan...(one in 10)...

I put the media in one of my other burners (Pioneer A05 or LG4160b) and I do a file and surface scan in Nero 6....The media passes fine...no errors... On occassion I'll use Decrypter to rip the media I just burned (which reported errors), and it rips fine...(LG 4120b, Pioneer A105 or LG4160b)....

I've also noticed my LG4120b will not spin up some dvds that spin up fine in my other burners... This can be a commercial (pressed) dvd or a dvd I've burned...

I believe my read laser maybe failing on my LG4120b...??? As it appears to be burning fine...

Any ideas....???
