  1. Hi all,
I have family photos taken on my digi camera. I use Photoshop cs2 and premiere pro 1.5. When i get the images in photoshop I choose to alter the aspect ratio to pal 1.06, (not to sure of the exact number 1.06 or 1.066) Then I save the image as JPEG. I then burn the dvd using CBR 1 PASS 7 MEG.
The problem is when i play the dvd the images seem to shake slightly. It is like some pixels are moving in parts of the image. What have i done wrong?

    Cheers Josel

Nothing. I suspect what you are seeing is caused by interlacing on playback. Your TV shows each image i two passes - odd lines, then even lines (or vice versa - doesn't matter which), and it does this 25 times per second. Fine horizontal lines or very small points may appear to shimmer because they fall onto only one scanline.

To avoid this, apply a very small directional blur (either up or down) in photoshop. Usually something as small as 0.4 or less can fix the problem without causing noticable change to the image.
