    Hello.
Does anyone know how I can rip some audio from a DVD using MTR or DTOX or maybe ffmpegX?
Those are the 3 tools I have right now that I'm hoping to do this with unless there's something I can do with Quicktime Pro.
I've done lots of other ripping, converting, etc. but never just the audio and now I can't figure out that particular maneuver.
Any help would be much appreciated!

  2. Once you get the clip in a format that Quicktime Pro can read, you can delete the video track and export as audio.

MPEG Streamclip will demux a VOB to AIFF, as long as you have the mpeg2 plugin for QT.

Demux to AIFF works even without the MPEG-2 plugin. You won't have a visual reference with no video, but you'll get the audio.

Find a copy of YadeX .. Select your title (or chapter) and rip to streams. Choose not to save video and subtitles, just the audio. Use mAC3dec to convert the audio (if its Dolby Digital) to AIFF or MP3.

Free tools, very easy to use.
