Hi All,
BIG question. How can I make sure that my "anamorphic" DVDs are displaying in the correct aspect for my HDTV? All of my support inquiries at various companies have not resulted in a good explanation.![]()
My DVD player is an Onkyo DV-CP701 running through an Onkyo TX-SR700 receiver to a Panasonic 30" Tau HDTV.
Onkyo said to just set my DVD player display options to 16:9, but I am sceptical. If anyone could shed some light on how an "anamorphic" DVD works, that would help me understand this issue a bit better.
Thanks,
Matthew
