  1. What is QC? I know what VBR is but what do you get when you put QC in front of it?

  3. No. It's QC. I'm using MOVkit PSP Video Converter. Choices are CBR or QC VBR. Thanks!!!

    It could be the same.
    CQ = Constant Quotient
    QC = Quotient is Constat ?

    Usually "QC" means "Quality Control" and is used in discussions such as DVD media quality.

    QC-VBR may stand for Quality Controlled Variable Bitrate. From what I read elsewhere it sounds like a VBR encoding where you can specify minimum and maximum quantizers.
