  1. What editting program would you recommend to me for creating a movie that has multiple "windows" of videos moving on screen and then off screen, crossing one another as they fade in and out against a solid black BG? I am able to do this with Flash but I prefer not to do it in Flash and convert it from SWF to AVI. I currently have Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 but am unable to find anything in the manual or "Help" that answers my question. Possibly I don't know the correct terminology and am looking for help in the wrong place. Thanks for any suggestions.

Please use a descriptive title for your posts. "Suggestions needed " is not descriptive and makes it impossible for others to search for your posts if they have similar questions. You will also get a lot more 'reads with a title that reflects the content of your post. Moderator redwudz

Don't know if elements can - look in the manual/help files for motion tracks or similar.

Premiere and Vegas can both do this pretty easily. Even better is something like After Effects or Combustion (or Fusion, if you have the $$$)

Creative Cow has a some tutorials on similar types of things, including a 3d video wall done in AE. Wrigley probably has something similar for Premiere.
