I am trying to get a avi video file 669meg onto a dvd. I am using nero and choose the create your own video, then I add it and it says it goes over the 4.7gb by about 250megs. How can this be? Is there a better program or way to fit this on the dvd?
Thanks

well since you already have Nero, when i select make dvd it asks me if i wan to use a dvd-9 or allow nero to make it fit on a dvd-5 by lowering the bitrate, which will not effect the outcome from avi. Check the video setting. or try as bldrick suggests

Ok in nero where is this setting at? I just select make your own dvd video and never get that mesg to pick on.
I did see it says dvd,dvd-1,dvd-9 in a drop down I have used dvd. And still goes over in the red arghhhh. what if I change the ratio?
