If you use clonecd or nero give us a try you will love it, it has a slightly longer learning curve but it is aimed at both the beginner and experienced uusers.

Yes sorry about it being rather a large download Jordan, we are working on taking the manual out of the download which takes approx 3mb so people with slower connections can find it easier to download.
I personally would use netzip download demon and download it a bit at a time as it saves even if you disconnect so you can continue later if any problems come up!
We really would like a review from some pretty experienced users (good or bad) if bad we will try and fix so we can link to it from a few places so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Have downloaded it and backed up a couple of games, so far it has done 2 fine but just like all copy programs it has a big problem with games using safe disk copy protection, i.e. Operation Flashpoint, which is normal, according to all the articles I have read, no disk copy program will do these, the only way around it is to use a patched executible, oh well....lol

The program is well written though, it is easier to use than cdrwin, currently my favorite, and about the same as cdclone but with more burning options, I will try it out on bin cue files and if it does these well I will probubly use it to replace cdrwin and fireburner which is what I use now for cue bin files. Still use nero for most everything else. I will post some more results in a few days. One other thing, couldn't you of kept the trial wait to around 15 seconds.....lol

I have done that and it will make a copy that when you run the program still asks for the original disk, it did work on a couple of safe disks, sims, delta force, but even with these you have to use a patched exe.

  13. Hi summersby, you should not need to use patches with your backup what kind of writer are you using?
Take a look at a database we set up a few weeks ago for users to submit their settings for backups.
    cd mate database

We thought 30 secs was reasonable considering cd mate trial is fully functional.
Could have been worse we could have only given you 5 burns or kept your writing speed to 2 times or something!
