How would I break up a 3GB .VOB file in order for it to be burned with Nero? Everytime I try to just burn it with Nero, it tells that the file is too big.

Well, if you are trying to burn it to be UDF compatible, your files cannot exceed 1GB in size.

Is there a way to break the file down to be under 1GB a piece?

If you already have all the other files (BUP, IFO etc.), then just run it through VOBblanker. That should automatically split each VOB file into 0.99GB

I actually don't have those files. This was a conversion from DIVX to DVD and it just gave me one big file.

Use IFOEdit to create the IFO files needed. Click on the create IFOs in IFOedit and process, this would create the files you need. Then process the files through VOBblanker which should automatically split the VOB files into 0.99GB each.
