    I own a Konka 1800U-1 Standalone DVD Player, yes I know, please save your pity remarks on my DVD player, its crap but thats not what Im saying, I turn up the volume on my television and and the VCD freezes, yet the audio keeps on going, any ideas? thnxs

    Do you have your dvd hooked up to a reciever/amp U know home entertainment system "SURROUND SOUND" if so u need the tv remote to turn up the tv or do it manually when u use the reciever remote or the dvd remote it drains power from your dvd spin rate lol hee hee... I hope it helped u out....
