I have looked all over the internet for a MV hack on the CyberHome DVR-1600 DVD Recorder, but I have not found a single thing, but then I began seeing all these people saying they hacked the firmware on their Lite On LVW recorders. So, I was wondering if there's a program out there that would let me "edit" the firmware on my DVR-1600 to make it ignore the MV/CGMS/Whatever protections on commercial tapes and discs?

The 1600 is not hackable.
If MV is an issue, you need to get the LiteOn unit.Google is your Friend
