Hi,
have encore 1.5 and i always get at least one frame gap between any subtitles.
For example, if the first subtitle ends with 00:00:15:10 and where the next subtitle will already start with 00:00:15:10, there is never smooth playing in preview monitor or completed DVD. Always a small gap.
I'm doing a karaoke DVD and smooth playback of titles is important.
I'm using import image script in encore, in timeline ther's no gaps.
Is this Encore bug or i missed something?
Thanx.

I think really smooth subtitles for karaoke purposes can only be done by hardcoding them into the videostream. The timing precision for 'normal' subtitles is not that good (~ 0.2 sec) and also depends on the player...

You could try a combination of :
Visualsubsync for sub creation and exact timing's
Txt2sup to convert to ifoedit format .
Ifoedit to mux m2v , ac3 , and sup into vob title .
It should be more acurate than any other way .
