Sup fellas. I am having trouble playing DVD Ripped VCDs on my GE 1101p DVD player. I created them with TMPG standard format and burned them with CDRWIN. I am told that CDRWIN is tricky, but I hope that is the problem because the movies I created work very well on my brother's Sanyo DMW-370. Somone on mIRC suggested I try Nero 5.5 to burn. Please help me out!

My GE 1101p DVD player plays nearly anything! It's a great machine! The only thing it won't play sofar is SVCD's made using VCD formate size. This is a template that Sefy made available on VCD helper. I have never used CDRWIN. Nero 5.5 which can be downloaded and used free for 30 days works great for VCD but I've never been able to use it for SVCD.
VCDEasy which is available here under tools works great. It comes with software that lets you burn VCD's and SVCD's. I like it a lot. It does have the extra step of creating a bin/cue file before burning but it's fast. Did you use the VCD template in TMPGNec? Hope this helps Schwinn -
Thanks for replying so quickly
