Does anyone use this particular adaptec video capture kit with XP? I just acquired but have had no end of trouble with it. I haven't managed to get it to install at all let alone work. Basically, when XP attempts to install the device, the following error message appears: device cannot start(code 10).
Several attempts have been made at reinstalling including, powering off the device, unplugging the USB,uninstalling drivers and starting all over again (pretty much what adaptec tech support subsequently suggested), it still doesn't work. The light on the device stays orange and does not change to green. Apparently, the error message indicates there is a driver conflict of some sort and that the drivers aren't being loaded hence the orange light.
Has anyone got any experience with this kit at all? If so I would be grateful for any tips and advice they can offer. Cheers.
Regards
George
