I'm not familiar with adobe, (and I don't consider myself an expert ) but I want to clarify your question. Are you looking for something to mask your video with the above shape or do you want your video to be distorted into that shape?

On the other hand, the title "frame shots demo" implies that it's merely an alpha mask.

You can do this in After Effects 6.5 using the Bezier Warp effect. I don't think that's available on Premiere though.

WinMorph is a free plug that will work with Premiere and besides doing morphing effects also does warping.

@ method: There's two possibilities here...

    1) The video is actually distorted to give the "bowed" effect top and bottom. As someone has already pointed out, WinMorph ( www.debugmode.com/winmorph ) should be able to do this. It's free and can be a plug-in to Premiere Pro.

It doesn't appear to be in the "Tools" list, so I've submitted it.

    2) The video itself isn't touched, but a suitable shape is laid over the top, and the video plays through a "gap" in the middle.

This is easily achieved by making the "shape" in something like Photoshop with the "gap" in the middle only needing to be a transparent background. That way, no need to mask - alpha or otherwise.
