In Mozilla mail is there a way to change text color for part of the message? Sometimes I want part of a message to stand out or be different which is easily done in Outlook Express, but I don't see it in Mozilla mail. Have I some how overlooked that option in Mozilla mail, or is it just not there?

I use Thunderbird (the standalone Mozilla mail client) and it has options to change the font, size, style, and color in a toolbar right above the window with the body of the email. Keep in mind that you need to send the email as HTML and the person you're sending to needs to have the ability to view HTML encoded email in order to see these formatting changes.

Your correct about enabling html for Outlook Express at least, but I see no such options in Mozilla mail regardless of whether html enabled or not. I also checked Mozilla mail Help which says to open Format menu just like in Outlook Express, but I see no Format menu in Mozilla mail. This seems to indicate Mozilla mail doesn't even know its own capabilities. Hopefully someone using Mozilla mail might provide some answers.

Just discovered the solution. I had selected "Send" format as html under"Preferences" that I thought would do it but not so, and I had to go in the "Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings" dialog box, select "Composition & Addressing".... Check "Compose Messages in HTML Format"....close out Mozilla mail client, and restart it.... This settings change not only added a tool bar but also added the "Format" menu tab to top menu that Mozilla Help refernced.
