I'm having trouble doing this simply. I tried using a program or two here:

But they just put the .vob and .ifo files on my computer. I'm just looking for a program to take the information on the disc, and turn it back into an MPEG2 file. That's all I need to do. Thanks.

Are these commercial or home made DVDs?

If they are home made then Vob2mpg should would work like a charm!

If they are commercial DVDs then they probably have macrovision (copy protection) in which case you would need to decrypt the vobs 1st and then use Vob2mpg or Videoredo.

The DVD is from a driving school up here. A friend of mine just started his own, and wanted some clips the disc has (i.e. MADD, stuff from Ford) as he didn't know where else to get it. So I'm just taking pieces, putting them together, and burning them.

Anyway, the program worked great, thanks Baldrick.
