  1. is there any program out there that can burn multiple .avi-files onto a DVD, so that I can play them in my dvd-player?

I mean, burn the .avi-files as .avi, instead of converting them to .dvd format which 1; takes forever to convert and
2; makes the files huuuge in size.

The .avi-files are now in about 350 in size, and I'm hoping I could keep that size, so that I'm able to put in as many files as possible.

    anyone for help?
    thanks.

If you have a divx/xvid dvd player you can just burn the avi files on the dvd, no converting.

If not you MUST convert to dvd-video...use for example divxtodvd.

  3. alright, I don't have a divx/xvid-player.

will the "divxtodvd-program" make the files huge in size? 'cause that seems to be my constant problem.

Add all AVI files and it will try fit it on a dvd automatically. But if it's several hour it will look like crap. The source file size does not matter when you are reconverting to DVD, only the total running time.
