    Hi. I am using Adobe After Effects/Premiere and i have shot some clips with my SONY.

    After connecting to the computer, i get a bunch of big video files (supposedly HD) with the extension .mts

    How do i open these files with Adobe After Effects? I have no idea how to install codecs into Adobe After effects...

    What codecs do i need? An easier solution would be to actually recommend a program that could convert these files into .avi extensions.

    Neo Scene . MTS-AVI conversion. This will automatically install the Cineform codec as well, probably the best lossless codec out there.
