    hello everyone

a couple of days ago i ran across the problem that all the .avi XviD video files i converted to DVD with TFM, had an audio delay of about 2 seconds, when before it worked fine... I tried everything, i tried installing other converters (AVI2DVD, DIKO) but which encoder i used, it would always have the same delay of about 2 seconds.

I myself thougt the problem was that i installed PowerDVD, and since then i had the problem. So i uninstalled all of that (PowerDVD, DIKO, AVI2DVD) to see if that fixed the problem.

But now i come across another problem: BeSweet wont work anymore...
When i come to the point where TFM should be converting the audio, it just stalls, and doesnt do anything anymore
It stays in this state forever:

I tried to transcode the audio directly with BeSweet through BeLight, but then the CMD prompt of BeSweet flashes on my screen for 1 second, dissappears again, and nothing happened

Does anyone know the answer to any of the 2 problems?
    1. the 2 seconds delay of the audio
    2. how to get TFM (or BeSweet) to convert the audio

    thnx very much in advance!

    greetz, VaZo

Tried any "manual" AVI to DVD method (see AVI to DVD under CONVERT left)? If oneclickwonders is your way to deal with this kind of conversions, tried VSO DivXtoDVD?

yes, with VSO i also get the 2sec audio delay... doesnt matter which encoder i use, also manual encoders, i get a 2sec delay... so i think its not in the program, but maybe codecs

If it's a codec problem, two programs that may help are DXMan and Codec Sniper.

Sounds like bad source material to me. God knows, not all AVIs lend themselves to conversion! The simple solution is to get a DivX/XviD capable standalone player.
