    I have just purchased a liteon lvw 5005 recorder in Australia.
    went to the Liteon site , filled in all the relevant details to download the latset firmware when i click on the link
    http://www.liteonit.com/DC/english/images/zip/FW_5001_5006/LNFF4101.E30.0102.364x.zip
    A message "HTTP/1.1 404 Object Not Found"

    Is there anywhere I can download a hacked file to, enable 3 hour settings . remove Macrovision for Australia . I need to back up my VHS tapes which are no longer commercially available.

    There is a file:
    LiteOn 5005 (PAL/R2) HACKED (??) 2091:
    will this work for Australian R4 systems?
