    Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in but I'm confused as to the right one.

    I have the drive mentioned in the topic subject. It only plays region 1 dvds. I'm in the Uk so although I have quite a few American dvds I have lots of European ones that I would like to be able to view and also a couple of Chinese region 3.

    Is there a hack/code I can use to set it to region free (without using any third party software)?

    Just incase this is needed: I use PowerDVD
