I am trying to transfer over my vhs tapes to dvd-r. I have a stand alone dvd burner/vhs that I have successfully transfered over to dvd-rw. I then take the finalized dvd-rw and I proceed to download the video from the dvd-rw to my desktop vis IsoBuster 1.8. The downloaded file is in a TAO
format (IsoBuster gives me the choice of tao, wav or iso but converts only to tao) which nero 6 does not recognize and cannot open. When I change the file name to mpeg, the file is recognized as a nero video file but nero 6 still will not open the file in its browser. I keep getting the message that "Nero 6 cannot insert the file" into the editing program. Can anyone help me work through this problem? The file is listed as a nero showtime file but will not insert file inot nero vision express 2 editing page.
What needs to be done to make this work? I want to edit the file in nero and burn the chaptered dvd in nero. How can this best be accomplished? Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and most importantly, how can I correct it. TIA.

Nero is not the tool for this job. Use it for burning only.
