    I captured a 40 minute long video clip and I tried to open it using Ulead Video Studio to edit but it shuts down immediately when I tried to open. Then I tried TMPGEnc and VirtualDub, and both programs couldn't open it either saying it has ERROR. I opened the video and it played fine. I have never encountered anything like this before with my other captured files.

    Can you suggest a video conversion program that might be able to open a file that "seems" to have error? I just wanna convert it into a new file so hopefully my Ulead Video Studio will be able to open it.

    btw. it's a MPEG-2 video file.
