I have a tv tuner on a remote computer and I used to be able to stream video from the remote computer to my computer via windows media encoder and sopcast. However, i have recently been getting error messages and i have found out that my router on my remote computer is blocking me from streaming video now. I opened up the correct ports for sopcast, but the router is still giving me problems, because it works when i plug the remote computer directly to the modem.
Does anybody know how to work around the router so i can stream my video? a step by step guide would be nice. my router is a netgear wgr 614.
thank you for any help
