copying photo slideshow to DVD from XP movie maker

Is there a relatively easy way to copy my photo slideshow created in XP movie maker to a DVD that can be viewed on the TV?.
Or would I be better of re-making the slideshow in another programme?

Output as DV-AVI, then use DivxtoDVD to create the DVD.

There are better ways, but they are more complicated and require an encoder and authoring software. This is a good, basic guide. It covers more steps that you need, but gives you an idea of the process involved. http://members.dodo.com.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm
