    I have some .m2v files that i'm opening up in VirtualDubMod and then trying to resave to .avi so they can later be edited.

    I tried using the Huffyuv codec to save the .avi file, but the files are oversized about 15X as large as the original? any ideas or reasons, and best configuration settings for huffuv?

    huffyuv is saving the uncompressed file. It is doing exactly what it is supposed to be doing.
