It'll be awhile before i visit Chicago to pick it up..Canadian delivery kills me, so i pick up purchases at the in-laws..
Seems like the opinions vary on the 1960-70-80 models...
As far as i can see, the 1960-70 models were made with more heavier and quality parts, but depending on the batch model you received, you could be quite disheartened. For the most part, the 1980 improved on circuitry (ram is cheaper these days i guess), but cheaped out on the hardware..
This parallels the opinions on the newer JVC models..Again, many people happier with the good ol' days of sturdier parts... -
