Any suggestions?! I have the WinTV PVR 150 from Hauppauge and I can't seem to get the PVR 150 IR Blaster to work. I've got a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4200 box. It's not specifically listed in the IR Setup.
This seems weird to me - I thought IR needs to be in direct sight of the receiver in order to change a channel?! I covered up the whole front of the cable box with a hat and the remote still changed the channel.

You would need to block it with a solid object, such as a book or magazine.

I tried blocking the whole front of the receiver with my arm. I guess I had some showing because it still changed the channel.
