  1. Hi. I was just wondering, my TV is not so new, it's a TV/VCR combo so I understand I need to connect the Recorder through the back plugs on the TV. My question is in reference to the A/V plugs. The red/white/yellow plugs are suppose to be connected to the TV. However, my TV only has slots for the white and yellow (audio/video) plugs. Does it matter that the red plug won't be plugged in?

If so, I need a RF modulator.

    Thanks.

You do not need an RF modulator.

I would recomed you to get a Y cable with 1 RCA male conector in one end and two RCA female conectors in the other end.

You can see an example of such cable in here: http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=2009&sku=29737

Just plug Yellow to Yellow (video) and your white and red plugs (audio) to the female conectors of your Y cable and plugplug the male end in your TV white conector.

  3. You'll probably have copy protection problems playing retail DVDs through a combo, burned discs should play fine.
