  1. Hi. Does anyone know an easy way, preferable free, to encode DVDs so it could be put on a iPod? Thanks for any info.

  2. I'd like to throw AutoGK into the mix too - that's what I use for my Archos and I believe the specs are the same.

    For the iPod I believe mp4 is required, still you could remux AutoGK's output, assuming that is that the iPod can handle mp3 audio. In an mp4 that is, obviously it can handle mp3 by itself. For instance QuickTime can handle mp3, but not mp3 in an mp4 even though it is 100% spec compliant.
