A mate emailed me a small MP4 video clip from overseas.
Its footage of him speaking at a mates wedding.

anyway I have been trying to convert to MPEG-2 so I can add it to a DVD of the whole event. This was the only footage that we had of this exact speach.

I usually use Canopus 1.5 to convert anything to MPEG-2, however on this file the audio moves out of sync after a second or two, and continues to get worse throughout the 15 min runnig time.

I have emailed him to find out what device created the file, but no reply being the holiday season. I think it may have been a iPaq.

I have also tried TMPG but have the same problem.

    any ideas ?
    Suggestions ?

If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Thanks for that . . tried that.

Found that using YAMB to extract audio and video and then using dBPowerAMP to convert audio to WAV and then using Virtualdub to remux before encoding to MPEG2 gave the best results.
