How Do I Make Self-Bootable PSX Games??I've used all kinds of software and guides but no luck yet and I was wondering if any of u know how to make a self-bootable PSX Game..Because I don't have a mod-chip and don't have a credit card to buy one..I've been reading all over the web that you can do this so Please help..

well yea but making a self-ootable PSX game is not worth it it takes like 2 hours and when you buy a MOD or a Boot-Disc it takes less then 30 soo i suggest you find a place that you thrust that take in moneyorders or checks

sorry no i forgot where i found it it was like 6 months ago it use to beon my favorite but i took it off....why dont you just a by a Boot-Disc they are everywhere now a days just go to your local gameing store and ask for PS-X-Change and they might have it i bought mines at Toy & Game Land in jersey while i was visiting my cuzins house

you can't make a bootable psx game with your burner, it has to be factory pressed or something like that, cause burner corrects the error which make the game bootable that was written on the boot sector...

It's impossible to make bootable psx games. you need a mod chip. nothing else works

Its impossible to burn the bad sectors that tell the console that the disk is an original, so no backup will ever boot without an external form of modification (mod chip, game enhancer, or boot disk.) The only way to make a disk with these bad sectors is to use the hardware that Sony uses.

It actually is possible to make self bootable games but it would probably cost more than buying the original. There are dev disks floating around that already have the bad sectors on them, all you have to do is burn as normal and the disk will boot. But like I said these disks are probably more expensive than any psx or PS2 game.
