    Hi All,

I have been given a movie in the form of a series of VOBs.

What can I use to convert these to a DivX or other format ?

You can use the search funtion in the tools section to see a number of options. Associated with each of this will be guides and user comments to help you make a choice. Then you can come back with specific questions that show you have put some effort in before asking for help.

You can search by converion type, which will help you narrow it down very quickly.

    G'Day Guns,

Yea, I did that all I come across was the rip method indicating that I needed the DVD then use something like Gordian to make the conversion but in my case I have just the VOBs.

Have I missed the point here ??

Yeah, pretty much. I went to the tools menu (to your left), and in the conversion field selected VOB to and came up with this list

    https://www.videohelp.com/tools?toolsearch=&s=&orderby=Name&hits=50&convert=VOB+to&dvda...+or+List+tools

The top selection is probably not a bad starting point - although you need dot.net2
