my onlyquestions are
has anyone tried them?
whats the media code?
are they good disks?

Almost certainly not Hitachi made in Japan.

from the play site they appear to be 8x
using the dvd media lists

it means they are either ritek g05 which apear to be dreadful

iv emailed them
not expecting much of a response
the person answering the email may well not even know what i mean when i ask what the media code is

if i cant get a response from play and no one on here has bought them then i think il risk a 50 pack of -r and a 50 pack of +r

should recoup the majority of my money on ebay if i dont get along well with them and am unuable to return them to play

although at the same time i doubt that play would choose crap disks as the only dvd media they sell

The picture they have on the page says they are 1-4x

which say they are 8x so either MXL RG03.... or ritekg05

APR media stocks MXL RG03.... (single jewel case at 35p a disc)so theres a chance play have the same media code

would be a cracking deal @ £22.99 with free delivery if they are the MXL RG03....

the 100 pack of dvd+r are 8X in both their picture and writing
they dont have the extra £2 off but arent bad at £24.99

I wish the US packaging for Maxell media looked like that. The European packaging looks just like that used in Japan.
