  2. hm... i tried the program and it cant convert m4a to mp3. thanks but is there another way?

    Sure it can. Maybe it doesn't support the m4a extension, but .m4a = .mp4. Apple just renamed it. Probably require an input plugin though. Also since m4a = mp4 it is actually possible for it to contain an mp3 stream.

    If you mean a DRM'ed m4a file, then you need to remove the DRM before converting.
