  1. I have some old Doctor Who videos I am putting onto DVD but some of the 1960s stories transferred from 16mm have a lot of specks, dirt and light damage.

Does anyone know if there any any VirtualDub or Adobe Premiere Pro filters to remove these specks, etc?

Im trying one out as we speak called Pops 0.1 but it doesnt seem to be doing anything (cant tell till AVI has rendered). I also see MSU Graphics have demos of a film damage removal filter, but its not available for use.

Can anyone help me out, or suggest any other plugin/software combos?

    Thank you, and Merry Christmas!

Not once you get the hang of it

For basic stuff you can get up to speed pretty quickly. You can also use tools like avsedit to make life easier.
