    what software/freeware do i need to convert any type of video into a flash movie file?

    As its a proprietary format...I would expect that you need the actual flash software.

    Have you looked in the HOW TO / CONVERT section?

    yes, i've looked into that. and searched google... all i see is flash into video and no video to flash...

    so tell me what software do i need?

    Sorenson Squeeze has this capability. But, the trial version leaves a watermark on the final video.

    thanks... downloaded the trial and works great. now i just need to find it at my local store... if not then i guess i have to order it...

    Glad it worked. However, I doubt that this will be available in stores (or atleast I have not seen it yet)
