    Ok, I have searched google, and this site. I have a MP4 video file, but I want to convert it to a avi, divx or MPEG. Does anyone have a program that they have converted a MP4 to another format that worked?

    Well if the mp4 contains MPEG-4 part 2 video and mp3 audio then you can simply remux to an avi or .divx file. If it contains AVC or aac you can still remux to avi. No idea why you would want to though. For mpg you could use TMPGEnc or any other encoder that accepts input via dshow or you could use ffmpeg or mencoder.

    Whats a good program that you would recommend to find out what format the video and audio are in?

    Is there a way to upload more video fomate's + audio, because with that program it says it's not a vaild formate.

    I have an MP4 that I want to convert to avi or mpg so I can create a VCD. I have TMPGEnc Plus and WinAvi, but I don't know what to do. Can someone help me out? Thanks.
