Hi: I have a computer which has a Integrated Graphics with a ATI's Radeon Xpress 200 Video chipset (http://images.tigerdirect.com/SkuImages/gallery/large/E400-T6520-h.JPG). Since this does not have a DVI output to connect to my TV, I purchased a Video card with a DVI output.
The computer I have is this one: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=E400-T6520

The manual for the new video card says to remove the current graphics card and uninstall the drivers for the current card.

Since the current video card is a integrated graphics card, how can I remove it? Or should I just uninstall the driver from the "Device Manager" window?

    Thanks
    RM

If you uninstalled the card in device manager it would re-install when you rebooted. Have a look in the BIOS settings and see if it can be disabled from there, if not then find the card in device manager and disable it.

  3. Go to Windows Control Panel->'Add or Remove Programs' and uninstall the ATI drivers->reboot and enter CMOS(BIOS) and disable onboard graphics.
Then turn off the PC and install the new videocard->install display driver and reboot->install control panel(if needed) and reboot.

rmalghan, I think you have misunderstood the manual. You cannot physically remove an integrated graphics card. As mentioned by other posters, you need to remove all drivers, software etc... related the integrated graphics, reboot the PC; then disable the onbaord card from BIOS.
