  1. Hi everyone,

Does anyone have the media code for the printable 16X TDK -R that are being sold at Costco US? I picked up a 50 pack of the 8X printable -R a few months ago, and they worked pretty well. But I noticed that Costco has replaced the 8X for the 16X, so I am wondering if the quality is still the same...

(And do these 16X have the same hub size as the 8X?)

    Thanks in advance!

  2. As you are probably aware, Costco has a very fair return policy for their members/customers, so if they do not work for you, I expect they will take them back and return your money with no problems. That's the great thing about buying from Costco.

AFAIK all TDK 16x DVD-R media carries the media code TTH02 regardless of where made (Japan, Taiwan or Luxembourg).

  5. These discs have worked fine so far for me. I burned 5 of them, and I purchased 2 spindles of 100.

No burning problems, or playback/reading problems from my old Pioneer A05 drive

  6. I just burned around 300 of them with my acard duplicator and 7 pioneer burners. 3 dvd 108's and 4 110's

Although, I think the 8x ones were quicker.

  7. Hmm, so which manufactur actually makes TTH02 then?

I am perfectly happy with the 8X and don't have the need to get the 16X; but since that's all they have, I don't have any choice.

  8. I think TDK themselves makes them.

TDK makes them if they're from Luxembourg or Japan; if from Taiwan they are made by CMC Magnetics to TDK's specifications.
