    Hi,

    I have got the DVD (copy made by unknowsn program). It plays fine on the computer, but no home DVD player can play it. It just shows black background and starts counting time to 6 seconds, and stops. No Menu or Title commands on the remote works.

    How to correct this?

    It could be your player, the media, or the disc could be created/formatted incorrectly.

    Also, just because the movie is on a dvd does not mean it is in the correct dvd format for standalone players to read it. Your computer doesn't care what format the disc is in.
