I have a Hi-8 Camera that has a Control "L" terminal to allow for an external device to control the camera. I'm running a PC with a Dazzle Hollywood-DV Bridge. The software says it offers remote control for a DV cam, but I'm wondering if anyone has been adventurous to try to connect an analog camera to a FireWire port somehow to try to control the camera.
Can it be done?
