How to combine 2 sets of VOBs to make 1?

I tried using DVD Shrink in reauther mode to just add 2 parts of a DVD-10 type movie (Storm of the Century) to a DL like I read somewhere here. Problem is it kept them as 2 seperate VTSs but set them to just play 1 after the other, from what I can tell (no menus). Now this worked fine on my computer, but my standalone player thought the movie was over when it hit the end of the first VTS.

So I'm wondering if there's an easy to to join the damn VOBs properly as ONE VTS? I don't wanna set it up to go back to the menu and have to choose the 2nd half. I'm rather pissed I might've wasted a DL here--damn things aren't cheap. I have a new DVD player under the xmas tree and I'm gonna see how it reacts to this disc. If it doesn't play it either, I'll have to try authoring differently.
