I am trying to convert 2 avi files and join them together. I have used DVDsanta before and had no problems. Now Zonealarm pops up and says dvdsanta is trying to launch drwtsn.exe and asks to allow it or deny it.
No matter what I select dvdsanta shuts down. It only does this after I hit encode. Any ideas??

Doctor Watson is the Windows analysis tool for why software crashes. It's not all that great, and DW has been around since the 1980s.

In other words - DVDSanta is crashing, possibly because of damaged source files?

Yes, that's what I meant. Yes, I suggest you try a few other source files before further investigation.
