i recently purchased a pair of phillips wireless headphones.. i thought they would be pretty nice.. they were the large "studio style" headphones and i figured it would be better than being connected to a wire.. they were only $10 more, and by a well known company, they couldnt be that bad..
well i wasnt too happy when i opened the box, they looked to be repackeged.. but i could look past that..
so i set it all up and hooked them up to my computer.. the first thing i noticed was during silent moments a constant low "ticking" sound.. i assumed it was picking radio inteference from the computer.. but while music was playing, it was okay.. i could almost live with that..
i moved them earlier today to another computer, and when i plugged the power in to the transmission base, the light didnt come on.. they just crapped out..
i'll be returning these and getting my money back tomorrow.. i'm considering exchanging them for similar, yet wired, sony headphones.. but i really would like a pair of wireless headphones that dont suck..
can anyone suggest a good pair?

Try one of these FM transmitters paired with a FM headset of your choice.
