    This really bites as no one I have talked to, including the Sony head office, know how to do it, even though I am told that it can be done. The plug for the head set is rca and the INput on the tv is digital audio. There is also a digital optical audio OUTput on the blue ray as well. Can I make a connection? If it helps the headset model number is (Sony) MDR RF925RK, the tv (Panasonic) TC-P50S30, and the Blue Ray(Samsung) HT-D5330. Please help!!! I am new to all this terminology and am not tech smart at all!

    No, but if you can spend enough something can be made ...

    Toslink --> RCA
    Coax ----> RCA

    Are you sure the headset accepts line level on RCA?

    If you had a receiver (with video switching) to throw into the mix, you'd probably get the best (simplest) result.

    Otherwise:

    I'm not that surprised about a TV not having a headphone jack, but a HomeTheatre??? What was Samsung thinking?

    Looks like about the only thing you can do is use the TV's Optical out's to something like that Gefen converter box previously mentioned, out through RCA, to the inputs on the Headphone Xmitter. Sounds like they ARE line level if you use Input B (so you'd have to use the supplied mini2RCA adapter cable in reverse).

  5. Plug the wireless headphone transmitter into the headphone jack on your TV? If it doesn't have one get a digital audio to analog audio converter and connect it to the digital audio out of the TV.

    neither that tv or bluray system has an audio out or headphone jack. i'd say your not going to be able to connect your headphones at all.
